Our commitment to placing our workers at the forefront of our priorities, along with improving their welfare and quality of work life, has always been the guiding principles of our corporate philosophy. Having begun my BPO career in Operations and later transitioning into Human Resources, I have witnessed the remarkable journey of Bluebean while upholding this commitment, a journey defined not only by successes but also by the hurdles we’ve faced, primarily due to our stature as a relatively small company in a vast sea of BPO giants.

Yet, in the face of adversity, we’ve found our strength in a relentless dedication to nurturing talent. While larger BPO corporations may have vast resources at their disposal, our size has allowed us to provide individualized attention and opportunities for every employee, making them feel like they are not just another cog in the machine but valued members of our close-knit community.

This sense of belonging has often translated into increased loyalty and dedication to our company’s success. Our team members, while less experienced at first, have consistently displayed unparalleled devotion and resolve to excel. Our investment in their development and the guidance and opportunity we provide have enabled them to nurture their skills and grow within our organization. This has not only garnered accolades and achievements for Bluebean but has also cultivated an environment of trust and mutual respect within our organization.

Our management philosophy is built on transparency and sincerity. We prioritize open channels of communication, ensuring our employees fully understand our dedication to their professional and personal well-being. Fostering open communication hasn’t always been a smooth path, but we believe in its power to drive growth and improvement.

One crucial aspect of our management strategy is encouraging our managers to mentor and prepare their direct reports as if they were grooming them for opportunities elsewhere. This approach has created a unique bond of trust between our team members and Bluebean. It sends a powerful message that we genuinely care about their success even if they decide to explore opportunities beyond our organization. We find fulfillment in knowing that those who have moved on carry with them fond memories of their time at Bluebean.

When our team members do decide to embark on new journeys, we recognize the challenges it presents. Our industry is marked by fierce competition for talent, and the urgency demanded by new employers can disrupt our operations. Training new recruits to the level of proficiency our clients expect can be resource-intensive, affecting the continuity of our services. However, our years of experience have taught us to be adaptable and continually refine our retention strategies, striving to create an environment where employees choose to stay because they see the value and growth opportunities that we offer. And for our efforts, we have consistently maintained a low turnover rate compared to industry averages.

Bluebean has confronted the people-related challenges that come with being a smaller player in the BPO industry head-on.
